Have you ever looked up at the night sky and wondered what the stars see when looking down on you, down on us? So often we hear the invitation to reach for the stars. What is it that is keeping us from reaching for the stars, not just in the night sky but in connection with our deepest dreams and desires?

Is it that we are bogged down by life’s challenges or somewhat disconnected from our life purpose, experiencing difficulties in finding inspiration to take the leap towards our dreams? Sometimes embracing a new direction in our lives is about making drastic changes and leaving behind everything that is familiar. On the other hand, subtle, profound shifts in your life can be about changes in perspective. Could reaching the stars be less about inventing and building the brightest starship to take us there and more about finding our inner resources that are already within us, only waiting to be discovered?

What if you started by asking yourself the following questions:

  • What current burdens are weighing you down, and how might releasing them elevate your spirit?
  • Are there any inner/outer expectations that are holding you back from reaching your true potential in life?
  • What could a higher, more expansive perspective reveal about your current life circumstances?

Sometimes the way to the stars starts by transcending those everyday limitations in our lives that seem to be holding us back. Imagine if you could start your days feeling inspired, finding peace in the possibility of holding a new, more empowered perspective on your life. Here are a few tips on how to get there:

  1. Elevate Your Mindset: On your way to the stars, what if challenges could be viewed as stepping stones instead of barriers? What if each challenge could be a new step towards a deeper connection with yourself and others, a new possibility for a deeper understanding of life? When you approach life with the air of being welcoming and open to new experiences, challenges become opportunities for personal growth and innovation. In the month of March, I will be challenging myself to say to the Universe ‘Yes, bring it on, I AM READY’ instead of ‘Not this, NOT AGAIN!’
  1. Elevate Your Perspective: What if you could fly? What if you could feel the strength of your wings and the power of the wind and you could soar high above? Wouldn’t it be different looking down on your life from amidst the clouds? Perhaps receiving a big-picture view would also give you a moment to reflect on your big-picture goals and dreams. Where in your life are you truly headed and what are the action steps needed to take you there? In the month of March, will you join me in doing a ‘5-Minute Sky View’ visualization: Imagine rising above your current circumstances, some of the difficult issues in your life. Trust that with the view from above, instead of obstacles, you will be able to see opportunities.
  1. Elevate Your Self-Care: How often do we put the needs of others before our own? What if today you made an inner commitment to connect with your soul and start nurturing the spirit within you? If in March you took time for self-reflection and self-care, what would this look like for you? As you start aiming for the stars, this may be a good time to start preparing for a journey of profound personal growth and exploration. In preparation, one important question to ask may be the following: What are some of the important resources you will be needing along the way? To prepare is to be ready when the moment arrives.
  1. Elevate Your Spirit: Aiming for the stars can be about pursuing a deeper understanding of ourselves and others. It is about freeing ourselves from the current circumstances to explore the limitless potential within us. Sometimes it is about saying no to activities and environments that drain our energy or do not align with our essence and our innermost desires. Truly releasing the inner or outer clutter that is weighing us down can strengthen our wings and allow our spirits to soar higher and higher. To help you do this, consider joining one of the 28-Day Soul Coaching® Programs offered by the Soul Coaching® Practitioners here at the Linn Academy.

If you are looking for an opportunity to elevate your spirit in the month of March, how about taking a Soul Journey with a Soul Coaching® Practitioner here at the Linn Academy to receive inner guidance as your spirit begins to soar to new heights for the benefit of us all. In essence, the way you transcend your daily challenges ultimately defines your whole journey, to the stars and here on Earth.
