As a reader of this newsletter, I know you are someone who believes in the energy of intention and ceremony—that the sacred is right here with us, waiting to be called upon.

This month, as we explore ways to Cherish Ourselves, I want to inspire you to bring that energy of intention and ceremony—even feng shui and space clearing—into your everyday morning rituals. Routine tasks such as washing your hair, caring for your skin, and choosing what you wear can become portals of empowerment, setting the tone for your entire day.

I’ve noticed that many people have “given up” on the art of adornment. The pandemic, in particular, shifted how we engage with this practice. Staying home led to days in pajama bottoms, minimal grooming, and the same wrinkled clothes on repeat. Even now, as we’ve returned to the world, many have not reclaimed the habit of creating energy and presence through their daily self-care. But what if getting ready wasn’t just practical—it was sacred?

Have you considered weaving feng shui, space clearing, intentions, and affirmations into your morning ritual? What if your time at the mirror became a sacred ceremony?

Here are a few simple ways to start honoring yourself with magic and power at the very start of each day:

1. Empower Your Shampoo. Your hair is your crowning glory—ancient cultures even saw it as an antenna to the energy around you. Imagine your shampoo or body wash as a potion. Add a few drops of essential oil or a tiny crystal to infuse it with intention. For calm focus, I love lavender; for protection, a shard of black tourmaline. If you prefer bar soaps, anoint them with oils, or keep a crystal in your soap dish to amplify your daily cleansing.

2. Affirmations of Beauty. Place affirmations in your makeup or skincare drawer, and tuck in some rose quartz to infuse everything with love and cherishing energy. You can even label specific items with intentions: bold red lipstick might say “Listen to me,” while your favorite moisturizer whispers “I am supple and vibrant.” Each item becomes a talisman.

3. Power Crystals. Jewelry isn’t just decoration—it’s energy in wearable form. I wear crystals even when I’m cleaning the house. Stones and colors empower us just as they empower our homes in feng shui. On days I work with heavy client energy, I’ll wear a selenite pendant to keep my vibration high. Explore the stones in your jewelry box, discover their superpowers, and choose them as allies for your day.

When you infuse your daily adornment with intention, ritual, and feng shui magic, you step into a new level of personal power. This isn’t vanity—it’s reverence. Just as you care for your home or your family, you are called to cherish your sacred self. By honoring your appearance as ceremony, you activate the full radiance of your being—so you can shine brightly in the work your soul came here to do.
