I was speaking at an event and casually dropped in that “Soul Coaching® made me gay.” There was a little laughter before someone shouted out “really? You can’t say that!”

“No,” I said, letting the laughter die down, “that’s not entirely right. But I do know that Soul Coaching® helped me to accept who I truly am and live my life the way that is in alignment with who I am.”

But … I still think it’s a bit true. I started with the twenty-eight day Soul Coaching® program on the first of January, 2007 and made my way through the program with Denise Linn in the background, offering daily prompts to help me. It wasn’t a program to coach my soul, but to help me clear the clutter that I was holding onto so I could listen to my soul.

The clutter clearing was not only the physical stuff around me, but the clutter I was holding onto within; and I was holding onto a lot! I knew from a young age that I was gay, and yet I wasn’t allowed to be. The more I made my way through the program, the more my soul was coming forward. Not only was I clearing out the old stuff that was holding me back, but I recognised that by not accepting who I truly was, I wasn’t living a life that was full of joy.

Acceptance is an important part of life. When we don’t accept what is so or who we truly are, we are not able to change what is happening. We are denying what is going on for us and those around us. Yet when we shift into acceptance, we are able to release what is holding us back and live a life that brings us true joy. I hope that you consider going through the Soul Coaching® program so you can find the acceptance of who you are, just as you are.

Terry took the long, expensive way into coaching. Having developed as an intuitive medium, people came to Terry to hear from their loved ones in Spirit, and to be told how to live their lives. This didn’t feel right, and when he asked what he could do, he was heard about coaching and searched for a company to train with. When he found one that he thought would be good, he signed up and then regretted it. The coaching method wasn’t right and wasn’t what he was looking for….
