This month’s oracle card came at the right time for me. I was drowning in the detail of everyday life and my never ending to-do list. Okay, that may be an exaggeration, but you probably know what I mean.

I had so many things I wanted to do, needed to and had dreamed to do; and it wasn’t just my own things I needed to take care of. I had commitments to others which needed to be prioritised. From where I stood, much like the card, I couldn’t see anything past the snow capped mountains which I needed to climb.

The words I saw with the card changed everything; “…the Eagle Medicine card has chosen you…”. It did say ‘if’ at the beginning, but that didn’t seem important because I felt the call.

Instead of getting caught up in the detail, I took a moment, breathed, and asked myself what is important right now. Instead of all the tasks I had to do, I thought about what was my calling. What did I desire to achieve instead of all the tasks I had to do. Taking these few, but precious moments to myself, I felt like the Eagle soaring high. I could see where I was headed in my journey and more importantly where it could take me.

As I descended back to the snow topped mountains, I wrote out all the things I had to do on post it notes. I chose different colours as part of the different projects I was working on. With those written out, I started to organise them in terms of time, and what needed to be done next. But with each post it note, I felt into the task. If it felt heavy or too big to do, I broke it down into smaller tasks to complete.

Feeling empowered, I got to getting my tasks done. Each time I completed a task, I took the post it note, celebrated what I had done and moved onto the next one. Soon I had a colourful basket of post it notes for recycling, and I no longer felt like I was drowning. I was soaring, much like the Eagle. We don’t have to do this alone. We all need someone who can help us to take a higher view of what is happening and remind us of what is important in our lives. To help us make the decisions we need to help us soar in life.

With love,

Terry

Terry took the long, expensive way into coaching. Having developed as an intuitive medium, people came to Terry to hear from their loved ones in Spirit, and to be told how to live their lives. This didn’t feel right, and when he asked what he could do, he was heard about coaching and searched for a company to train with. When he found one that he thought would be good, he signed up and then regretted it. The coaching method wasn’t right and wasn’t what he was looking for….
