It was June of 2008 and after a day of travelling and a couple of days getting used to the Californian weather, I found myself sat with Denise Linn. After going through the Soul Coaching program myself, I was ready to become a practitioner and help other people through the program.
“I have strict criteria for you being here,” Denise said.
What the actual … !!! I hadn’t read any criteria in coming to the class and had to think about all the things I’d done which I could say I’d do in the future. My mind raced at what I could say to keep myself in the class. How had I missed the fine print about the criteria?
“The creator sends me the best people,” Denise finished her sentence, staring into the eyes of each of the people in the class with me.
The breath I had been holding left my body as a calm washed over me. While I was nervous about the class and what it would entail, those words gave me a sense of peace, but also left me feeling good. I was one of the best people.
It wasn’t until some years later, when I had completed not only the Soul Coaching Practitioner Training, but also Advanced and Master levels that I could now train other people to become Practitioners, much like I had done back in June 2008. As I prepared all I needed for my first class, I sat quietly and remembered the words Denise had said. I felt guided to create an altar to set my intention for the class to come and used the Native Spirit oracle card deck for inspiration. Out fell the ‘Gathering Your Tribe’ card. My first class, and every class since has been filled with the best people, my tribe.
There are times in life when we need assistance and help to get through what is happening. No matter what, I believe that the Creator, God, Goddess, Divine Source, Universe is always listening. When we become clear on what it is what we want to achieve, and ask for the best people to come, they will come. Be ready to accept them and their help when they do.
