We think you got a lot of potential Kit De Luca.
You do? You think I got potential?
Oh yeah. Don’t let anyone tell you different okay.
– Pretty Woman
We need that sometimes, right?
The friend who reminds us of what lies within. Because honestly we sometimes forget how capable we are. We forget we already have the strength and power to achieve what we desire. We just need to activate our superpowers.
That’s where our homes enter stage right.
Our homes can be our BFF and greatest ally in activating our potential.
When we want to publish our first book, they can reflect the space of a New York Times bestseller. When we want to open our heart to love, they can reflect the space of an intimate partnership. When we want vibrant health, they can reflect the space of someone with a healthy lifestyle. When we want to explore the world, they can reflect the space of a traveler.
Whatever it is that we want to activate in our lives should be first reflected in our homes.
As we step into 2024, I invite you to engage in a relationship with your home. Let her lead the way to unlocking your untapped potential.
My favorite way to do this is by adding a statement piece.
HERE’S WHAT THAT LOOKS LIKE:
1. Think of something you’d like to do/create/attract in 2024.
Things like a trip to the Italian countryside, a life partner who adores you, amazing health, unwavering support, a sense of peace, connection to self.
2. Think of a physical object that symbolizes what you want to do/create/attract. You’re the only one who needs to know that the object symbolizes something deeper, so be creative with this step. The sky’s the limit!
3. Make a commitment to add this object to your home as a statement of what you’re calling into your life.
That’s it! That’s how you activate your potential with a statement piece.
Each time you look at that object, it will be a reminder of what’s on its way to you.
P.S. In addition to a statement piece, if you’d like to activate your potential further, release any clutter that’s blocking your potential. To do this, first think of what you’re wanting to attract. Then ask yourself what physical belongings in my home are sending the opposite message of my intention. For example, if you want to open the potential to a new love, do you have old cards from an ex stashed in your closet. Or, if you want to open the potential for vibrant health, is your pantry full of Cheetos and Snickers?
