Ever finish doing something and realize that “thing” created a shift? A shift in the way you think, the way you feel or the way you plan to move forward? For me recently, it was a conversation. As part of this conversation I could feel how the exchange of words and ideas, without judgment between us, was creating a path toward something better for both of us.

It wasn’t until I hung up the phone (is that even a thing anymore?), I realized how much I appreciated being on the giving and receiving ends of our conversation. It was delightful. Not because every moment was joyful, we hit on some heavy topics, but because we were in the flow of an energy that was taking us to an elevated place of understanding and acceptance.

Since becoming a Soul Coaching (R) Practitioner last year, I’ve gained a deeper understanding of what it means to be present for someone, and how powerful it can be for them and for me. We’re on this planet to learn, and we need each other to do it. When we stay present, open ourselves to the potential within us and actively see and support the potential of someone else, transformation occurs.

Transformation is ongoing, a journey of ups, downs, highs and lows. If along this journey, you look for or recognize even after the fact where delight shows up, and honor those moments, you will also experience joy along this soul trek.

The best way to prepare for these sightings, as I see it anyway, is by staying true to ourselves, being authentic. It’s in that authenticity when we are most open to what we need to hear and what we need to share; most open to delight and joy. Stay true to you, open your heart, and the delight will come, joyfully.
