Take Some Action!

This  month we are bringing our attention to the “Action” card from the “Sacred Destiny Oracle” deck.  In this card there are storm clouds gathering over a wide body of water, and waves rolling in the foreground.  For the last two months we have been looking at cards that were encouraging us to surrender and to learn to go with the flow.   This month’s card also features water, so we are still in a building sequence. 

It can be difficult to take action after a period of surrender.  To get back into the pace of work after a vacation- but you can do it, you have done it. 

In the write up about this card it says to do something now, just get moving even if you are not sure what to do.  If you see a storm coming in, you are going to need to get your windows closed.  Just by starting the movement you will galvanize yourself for more movement, and as you start with the routine necessities your mind will begin to refine and form a plan to address the situation at hand.

In a practical sense, if you don’t know what to do- wipe down your kitchen counters and scrub out your sink.  The kitchen is so often the heart of the home and you are going to need nourishment no matter what.  As you are doing this familiar task, your mind will come up with a plan of action, what needs to be done next.  I do not know what the storm clouds are bringing, but this card encourages you to get moving. If you don’t know what is coming either, just prepare,  you could be getting an unexpected visitor, you could be having to deal with a lot more.  Your practice of going with the flow for the last two months will aid you in discovering where your efforts are most needed at this time. 

Now this card can bring up some worries.  And perhaps you are feeling that influence in your life.  Most of us have a dark raincloud gathering somewhere in our mind. If that is the case, after your kitchen is in order, open up your windows and let some fresh air into your home to help clear your head and ground you. 

Most of all be prepared to make spur-of-the-moment decisions, because this is not the time to lay back and mull over your choices. Remember, you are going to be making the best decision with the information you have right now, if you get more information later, you can change your mind later, but this Action card is encouraging you to get involved in whatever is going on, wherever you want to or need to make a contribution.  For those of you who don’t like to make fast decisions perhaps try a daily affirmation like “I make the best choices available to me at the time.”
