Success is Always Available to You!

Greetings and welcome to the Linn Academy Newsletter that is created by members of the Linn Academy.  Every month an oracle card is pulled and for December the card SUCCESS was pulled from the Soul Coaching® Oracle Card Deck. 

As I thought about the word ‘success’, I realized that I have a dynamic relationship with it that has changed over time.  Initially I thought it was achieving my goals, but I wondered . . . if you don’t achieve all your goals can you still be a success?  Perhaps true success was being happy. But what about the ancient warrior that defends his tribe from marauding bandits?  Maybe he’s not happy as he does it, but he has defended his people. He’s a success.

Some might say the opposite of success is failure, but if you are not willing to fail, it’s difficult to innovate and make changes. In other words, if you are afraid to fail, it’s difficult to achieve success. Both failure and success can move you forward.

After substantial mulling,  I’ve realized that success is subjective. The way I see it now, it’s a state of mind. It’s a feeling. And you can ignite this feeling whenever you desire.  For an example, you can inhale and realize that you have successfully taken a perfect inhalation.

Success is always available to you. And the one thing I know is that Success Begets Success, so they more you feel a success, the more likely you are to feel success in the future…. and that’s a good thing.
