I was proud that I had worked my way up from Customer Services Agent, answering customer calls and queries to Project Manager, where I helped manage the new products for customers to call and query. It hadn’t been an easy journey, but I was in a great place. The only thing was, people were being brought in to do the same job as me, but on more money.

I spoke with my manager and despite listening to my points, I was declined any pay rise. I was told to keep on doing a good job though. There was a part of me that kicked and screamed (inside) but I knew that there was a way and had to look inwards to find it.

Having been with the company for eight years, I had accumulated a lot of paperwork. There was my initial contract and pay slips, the transfer from one location to another, and the letter detailing the terms of my suspension and disciplinary actions. What? I didn’t say I was perfect; we all have little stories to tell.

The thing I noticed the most as I went through all the paperwork was an underlying belief I had. I was never going to be paid more than others because I had come from the bottom.

It was time to change my beliefs, and what I was holding onto. I destroyed all the old paperwork and kept only my current contract and the last six months of payslips. My document file looked empty at first, but I knew that the universe filled the space with something better and waited.

A new conversation with my manager raised the same question, and instead of saying no, he said he would look at it for me. A week later, I was given a letter detailing my pay rise, bringing me above those who had recently joined.

Clearing clutter is one way of making space for Abundance to flow into your life. When you clear with intention it can make the world of difference. Start small with a drawer at first and clear the surface items that you don’t need. The effects can be instantaneous, so look out for that abundance to flow.

Terry took the long, expensive way into coaching. Having developed as an intuitive medium, people came to Terry to hear from their loved ones in Spirit, and to be told how to live their lives. This didn’t feel right, and when he asked what he could do, he was heard about coaching and searched for a company to train with. When he found one that he thought would be good, he signed up and then regretted it. The coaching method wasn’t right and wasn’t what he was looking for….
