We are pleasure-seeking creatures.

Sigmund Freud initially used the term ‘pleasure principle’ to characterize people’s tendency to seek pleasure and avoid pain.

Life is a sensual and pleasurable journey meant to enjoy, but do we? Pleasure speaks to our senses and sends us off on a roller coaster of exhaustively seeking external events and experiences to satisfy our hunger.

We look for pleasure in a delicious meal, a loving relationship, friends, sex, clothes, a luxury car, careers, fame, money, and the list goes on to infinity. When all else fails, we turn to powerful drugs that promise to send us off to paradise.

Pleasure is an essential part of life, but we have grossly misunderstood its meaning and place in our lives.

Pleasure is an ephemeral experience.

When it’s appeal dwindles, we continuously look for more. We become addicted to pleasure and pursue it at all costs.

This misguided pleasure-seeking has created an unsustainable society that is peering into its self-created doom. In the pursuit of pleasure, we are destroying our resources and severely compromising the planets’ delicate balance.

At the same time, we damage our relationships with other human beings with competitive and destructive behaviors.

We have gravely mistaken pleasure for true joy, happiness, and fulfillment. Pleasure will not deliver us the gifts that we all seek to attain, whether consciously or unconsciously.

Our desire for pleasure has turned us into a society of addicts. We buy and consume stuff, but fail to recognize that the pleasure received from these external sources is merely momentary. So, we continue buying and consuming more and more in hopes of finding joy, happiness, and fulfillment.

In the USA alone, an outrageous $38 billion is spent yearly on the storage of surplus items that are never looked at or honored. An estimated 23.5 million Americans are addicted to alcohol and drugs. An estimated 2 million people have a substance use disorder related to prescription opioid pain medication.

A desperate and greedy pursuit of pleasure inevitably turns into pain.

But I believe that what we are hungry for is a wholesome and harmonious life. The question is if it is not through pleasure-seeking, how do we get there?

Only by returning to a close relationship with Nature, that in turn, will teach us that we are all beautifully connected and dependent on one another.

Grounded in this knowing, our hearts naturally expand.

We can then lead a loving and caring life cultivating the qualities of compassion, kindness, gratitude, equality, generosity, respect, dignity, grace, and all-inclusiveness.

These are not just dignified qualities to pursue; they are paramount at this crucial time for the survival of human life on Earth.

But what if we feel disconnected from Nature?
This happens by living busy lives in cities with polluted skies where we can’t see the magic of the stars nor breathe fresh air.

Fortunately, the Soul Coaching® 28 Days to Discover Your Authentic Self answers the urgent questions of our time.

Denise Linn, the Soul Coaching® program founder states, “There was a need for an everyday experience of spirit and a connection to the inner states of intuition, mystery, and wonder.”

Hence Soul Coaching® was born.

Soul Coaching® helps you clear away physical, mental, and emotional clutter while being guided by the four Sacred Elements of Air, Water, Fire & Earth.

When your inner and outer space is clear, and your connection with Nature is deep-rooted, you access your inner wisdom and find your truth.

You find meaning and sacredness in your everyday life, and this is your real source of pleasure and happiness.

But Soul Coaching® goes even further, and below are just some of the questions you will answer for yourself.

  • What is the purpose of my life?
  • What are my values?
  • What am I meant to do in my life?
  • What blocks my freedom, and how can I overcome these barriers?
  • How can I make a difference in the world?
  • What is my ultimate form of contribution to the world?

As you ponder and answer these noble questions, you discover your purpose and design a life that supports your mission to become a conscious harbinger for world transformation.

The time is now!
